There are also cases in which the attending physician does not recognize the health insurance card of your German health insurance and requires you to have a private orator. The treatment in private hospitals is not covered. In countries like the USA, Canada, Japan, some countries of Eastern Europe, Australia and Monaco, you will only receive medical treatment for a fee. With a private travel health insurance you can avoid these problems.
